What does the AQS 1 measure?
The AQS 1 can measure particulate matter (PM) and up to three gases at the same time. You can choose from the following parameters:
Particulate matter (PM1, PM2.5, PM4, PM10, TSP)
Gases: ozone, nitrogen dioxide, VOCs, carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, methane
Meteorological (temperature, humidity, rain, pressure, wind speed/direction, solar radiation)

What does the Aeroqual AQS 1 measure?
The Aeroqual AQS 1 measures particulate matter (PM1, PM2.5, PM4, PM10, and TSP), multiple gas pollutants (including NO₂, CO, O₃, VOCs, SO₂, H₂S, and CH₄), and environmental parameters such as temperature, humidity, noise, wind speed, and barometric pressure.
How does the AQS1 prevent humidity from affecting particulate matter (PM) readings?
The AQS1 features an integrated heated inlet controlled by smart sensors. When the ambient relative humidity rises above a specific threshold (typically 50%), the inlet heater activates.
This precisely warms the incoming air sample to reduce its relative humidity before it reaches the optical engine.
Is the AQS1 MCERTS accredited?
Yes! The AQS 1 is officially MCERTS certified as an Indicative Ambient Particulate Monitor for PM10.
How is the AQS-1 powered?
Either by mains power 110V/240V or via battery/solar panels.
